We will be hosting a fishing competition at Rescobie Loch by Forfar on Saturday the 13th and Sunday the 14th of June.

The Competition is to raise funds for the Maggies Cancer Caring Centre, at Ninewells Hospital, Dundee.

Come along and do your bit for a very valuable local asset.


Cancer touches everybody at some stage in their lives. I have personal experience of the valuable assistance given at the Maggies Centre.
Unfortunately I cannot fish, as I will be out of the country at the time, but I will be doing my bit on 9th May , by climbing Ben Nevis.

This event fundraiser, is for a more localised Charity, which is attached to Ninewells Hospital, in Dundee, they are called the Maggies Centre. They also have premises in Edinburgh, Glasgow, Kirkcaldy, Inverness, soon to be Lanarkshire, (Wishaw). Also have premises down South.

They are funded totally by Donations, and provide valuable assistance to Cancer Sufferers and their Families with problems associated with Cancer They do not provide helath care such as McMillan do, but mainly help and support. See Maggiescentres.org.
