Cracking looking flies Terry. Forthcoming Auction? Isn't their next auction in March 2009?

Quite right tigermoth, I believe the WTT are collecting lots over the next month or so in preparation for the March 09 auction, so you're getting to see this lot a little early.

Regards,
Terry

Thanks Mick,

I’m hoping that fly tying converts into rod building, bought my first blank a couple of weeks ago, just spined the rod ready to start building.

Regards,
Terry

Quite right, Terry

We are trying to put together a 200+ lot auction over the next couple of months.

We will be at the British Fly Fair as usual and would be pleased to see any supporters of WILD TROUT - old or new.

Thanks for your generous offer, Terry.

Any more of you out there wanting to help our efforts to improve the wild trout rivers in the country?

P

Default Fly box

That a really excellent set of flies.

Out of interest, what would you expect the lot to realise in the auction?

I would guess £100+

Now if I put £5 a week away in an old flybox .........

Hi,

Thanks for the positive comments.

I guess they are worth what someone is willing to pay for them, maybe £5 or £50, I guess only time will tell.

Whatever they go for I hope they bring the new owner a fish or two that they remember for a very long time. There are a few patterns in the collection, which have caught me several Trout and Grayling that I'll never forget.

Regards,
Terry

Would you be interested in putting together that set for purchases - proceeds to yourself and charity or however you wish.

I would be very interested in buying a set like that.

Exquisite!
