Just had to write this by way of a huge thank you to all involved in the Gardening Leave Auction that I recently had the priveledge of winning.

I received a lovely letter from Mrs Anna Baker Cresswell for the support to the gardening Leave charity.

But i feel i must thank the following who contributed so much, because I feel I am the winner because of the quality and the amount of the equipment from the auction, My sincere thanks go out to Tam (IVLACLEOD) who organised this event and everyone who helped him, Ben (SUNKISTBOB) for the reel and extra bits and bobs, Andy (GRANDSON SALTER) for the beautiful Leather rod case, Steve (ATOMSIX) for an absolutley fantasticaly well built rod,Stephen (MR TROUT) for the furled leaders, Gus (GOOSE41) for the great sunglasses and last but not least Ed (WE-FLYFISH)for the search water reel.

Again, many thanks for the opportunity in being succesfull in repect of the Great Cause.

Your very welcome Billy and you will be pleased to know that although Gardening Leave has a very small angling club they are in the process of building a stillwater fishery (still in the very early stages) exclusively for veterans and serving soldiers. Anna has set up a seperate account just for fishing and your cheque is going straight into that account. The money will be put to very good use.

I can't thank everyone enough for the support Gardening Leave received during the auction, both those who donated items and everyone who bid to make it a very worthwhile auction.

Kevin, Thanks for that.... cant wait to try it all out, Me and Jess are up Next Sat for two weeks so intend to bring Ryan for a couple of visits and try and get him on the fly. Was up about a month ago with work called in, but you were off again..hehe.
