Further details of the charity are below:

Gardening Leave Gardening Leave
Quote:
Gardening Leave was started by Anna Baker Cresswell in 2007 to improve the mental and physical wellbeing of ex-Service personnel using Horticultural Therapy, in walled gardens and is now developing Horicultural Therapy projects throughout the UK.
Gardening Leave & Fishing
Quote:
We are very fortunate that Annbank Angling Association have generously given us 2 permits to fish the river Ayr which runs through the gardens at Auchincruive. The riverbank is easily accessible from the garden.

Gardening Leave are also in the process of building a Stillwater with accomodation for visiting ex-servicemenQUOTE]

How they are funded:

Quote:
As yet Gardening Leave receives no statutory funding so all our income is from donations.

As we welcomed more veterans to Gardening Leave in Year 2 & 3, and the cost of running the charity began to rise, we recruited Pamela Smith to be our full-time Horticultural Therapist so that I could concentrate on raising the money to keep the wheels on – a perennial problem for fledgling charities!

Happy Bidding everyone and be generous, please

Tam or I will contact the winning bidder to arrange payment and posting the goodies to you

While I was composing a post bidding went from £70 to £170. I didn't realise it took me that long to write.

Absolutely amazing. Thank you so much everyone
