Hi all,

I would like to ask for some help and support please. This May, my partner Lucy and I are taking part in the annual Staines 10K run to hopefully raise some funds for Marie Curie Cancer Care. My father in law passed away last May from Prostate cancer and for the last six weeks of his life, he was cared for at a Marie Curie hospice in London. I cannot speak highly enough of the work, care and support all of the staff gave to my father in law and family, they are a truly fantastic organisation. The Marie Curie Daffodil running team have said that every £20 raised in sponsorship will provide ONE hour of nursing care for someone with cancer at their home.

£800.00 pays for one person to have one day of care in a Marie Curie hospice.

Our run was today and we completed it just over the hour!

I also dedicated my run to the memory of our great friend RoyVS who was cared for by Marie Curie and I had a picture of him attached to my running vest along with one of his favorite stillwater flies, a pink apps.

We have raised an incredable amount, £1090.00 + £250.00ish if you include GiftAid.
