Lightbulb Does anyone know if there is an ideal distance for optimum line turnover?

Regardless of the line size, Does anyone know, if there is an ideal distance for optimum line turnover?

You'll probably say, "depending on the head length", but there are so many lines out there now.

Best Regards

Depending on the head length.................it doesn't do to have more than a yard or two of head off the rod. If you do the line will be prone to hingeing since light line cannot turn over heavy line. I am sure that there are better casters than BN on here that will give you a better or other explanations but in my experience this holds true............birdsnest
