I finally managed to sort out a couple of hours of casting tuition with Darren today.

Just want to say thanks very much Darren. I really enjoyed it and learned a great deal. You spotted the little things I do wrong very quickly and helped me rectify them. Whilst I'll probably never be a master of casting I can certainly improve from here on in, assuming I can remember all those tips you gave me!

I caught my fish after you'd gone but to top it all, having executed the perfect roll cast and single overhead cast I caught my first ever brown trout. Ok, it was a stocked fish, but hey, it was still a first for me.

Again, Thanks Darren. Really enjoyed the day, the venue was excellent, company great and the fishing ended up being superb.
