BFCC at the Sportfish Open Weekend
I would like to thank Sportfish for allowing the BFCC to have a stand at their Open Weekend.
It was such a huge success I hardly know where to start.
From the BFCC point of view, we could hardly keep up with those that wanted to learn more about different casting aspects, and we also had some new members.
We will soon have on our website, pictures of Simon Gawesworth of Rio, Jerry Siem & Gary Coxon of Sage and also Matt Hayes among others.
These guys were all approachable and more than willing to give their time
There was so much going on with Spey Casting, Float Tubing, Casting demonstrations the crowd was well and truly wowed.
There was even hot and cold smokers going on for the trout that was freshly caught.
The only one that did not put in much of an appearance was the sun, but that did not seem to matter to anyone.
Upstairs in the conference rooms the talks were well attended and informative.
It was really a mini CLA Game Fair and everyone had a smile on their face.
All the stands had so many special offers on that I among with most of the people that attended spent more than I thought I would
The BFCC will be back there on the 10th July and we are looking forward to another Sportfish Open Weekend next year.
Roger
