Default The new Snake roll

Simon Gawesworth tries to keep a straight face whilst the Snake rolls is demonstated, well done to both parties involved for not pissing themselves.

Default Ah Simon!

One of 'yours,' but in our world of 2-handers he's an "American Icon." Mr C (and others on the Carron Team) are a close second.

Wonderful folks. Many years back there was a 2-hander casting compition up in Washington State and decided it would be fun to drive up and watch (I'm a good caster, but not in that League!) the fun. When I posted I was coming up in my 38' motor home the head organizer was back at me within hours asking if I had 'room' for a few extra folks. No a problem. A few days prior to leaving I realized I had no idea who was going to come knocking at my door.

Aaron gave me their names, which were vaguely familiar, but not beyond that. Turns out it was the Carron Casting team. Jimmie Jack and Gweneth were also there, but staying at a local hotel. Invited them over for dinner on Saturday evening ... and when the packed campground found out all who was going to be there the place went 'nuts.' Ended up (thank God for a full freezer in the MH!!!) making dinner for 22 people. For most it was a 'bring your own plate and cutlery,' but that didn't slow them down a bit.

Wonderful evening had by all. (Gweneth even helped me do the dishes.)

Jimmie Jack asked me if I could take the fellows to the airport on Sunday afternoon .... 'not a problem.' So I've got the fellows in the car (plus gear) and we're driving by a huge construction project near Sea-Tac airport and did a 'wow' that's a hell of a lot of concrete! (Elevated mono-rail system from Seattle to the AP.)

That's when I found out just 'who' Jimmie Jack and Gweneth were ..... If you didn't know, you'd never guess. Salt of the earth folks.
