Is it for trout or salmon fishing, and where in the North East?

I'd second Clive, also Glynn Freenman, Carl Hutchinson, Lee Cummings, Paul Little, Paul Proctor and Mark Riley. See Welcome to the Association of Advanced Professional Game Angling Instructors. for their details....

You could try Kevin Dawson at Northumbrian Fly Fishing I'd met him at Go Outdoors at West Denton Newcastle and I talked to him for a couple of minuets of he said have a couple of hours tuition with him would sort out my casting and confidence.
