Default lesson

Hi,
I'm new to fly fishing & had my first lesson today from Brian (brianfishing) on here.I found that the art of fly casting is very complicated but brian made it look so easy when he picked up the rod. 'Practice makes perfect' was all he kept saying ' and don't make a swishing noise with the rod'. Easier said than done for a novice like me but after many lines falling like spaghetti on the water I did manage a few good casts towards the end once I started to slow everything down.
Can't wait to get on the water again & maybe next time catch a trout.
