Someone suggested on here that I put up a video of me casting. It was impromptu so it was done by leaning a mobile phone against a post. I know it not showing the loops but what things am I doing wrong that you can see from this? This cast was 90-95ft. It just dont look good for some reason lol

A few have looked at your video! No-none left a reply! I wonder why?

Anyhow, your casting looked OK, the modern style of casting with a lay-back cast and doublehaul that seemed a bit fast. flexi wrist action which is OK as far as the modern instructors are concerned! But, hey 90ft, of fly line is no mean achievement.

I really would appreciate any more informed feedback but I guess what I posted isnt a whole lot to go on???

Yeah I can get around 95 feet nearly every time I cast . 99% of the time I cast without a leader so I'm guessing I can get 100ft most casts. (7 weight)

When I looked back at it though for the first time via video it just dont look right but I dont know why????

Not a lot wrong Tencher, you just need a far more expensive reel.

So many to go at trencher, just a bit of fun matey, enjoy yourself.
Why the distance though, most of my fish are caught at a couple of rod lengths.?

I used to do coarse match fishing and I think I need the competition or a way to prove im improving lol

Eyes like a hawk nothing wrong with a Vision, proven reels, and plenty of happy customers.
