Picked this up off the SpeyPages web board: Gerard Downey laid one out 70.63 meters .. or 231'- 8.7" ... Hell's Bells, I'm a good caster but I'm please to get out over 100' consistently when river fishing.

Well at least someone in Oregon can cast, Fred, young Travis Johnston was second. A mere 62.59 metres but second all the same.

I was at right opposite at the casting platform, it was a hell of a cast.
Great casting by Gerald all weekend, broke his own record twice (I think?), but his last cast of 70.63 as time was being counted out by Micheal Evans was spectacular.

I was lucky and saw some real sexyloops going out and Gerald's final one was just stunning .
I beleive ben Dixon should have some more piccys to come !
