Default Casting Tuition Needed - Live in Kew (West London)

Okay that's it, I had a great day today, even caught a lovely sized Roach on a Pink Spider, BUT it was just one too many flopsy casts and one too many sets of my own tied flies lost... I need help!

I've watched DVD's, have a few books and have tried to teach myself but I really don't seem to be getting too much better over time.

Does anyone know of the nearest place or person to Kew that I can get some solid tuition from to make a step forward?

Any help much appreciated.

Cheers

Lee

Lee,

There is someone on that list just posted named Steve Fisher. We met him last year on a fishing holiday in Wales and he is a really nice chap. Your luck must be in as he lives in Kew

Was thinking of getting in touch with him myself for some help as i'm not too far away in Epsom.

Hope that helps

Nick

Hi Lee,
I only live a few miles away from you, and I travel down to Hampshire/Wiltshire to get instruction from Martyn Armstrong (see his website www.flycaster.co.uk ) Mobile 077936 78697. Its only about an hours drive from you, and I cant recommend Martyn highly enough.
Please give him a try I sure you wont be disappointed, its certainly well worth the drive.

Cheers
L.

I just noticed, Stephen Fisher lives about 200m from my house, I wonder if he's seen this hopeless caster in the park behind his house before now

Thanks again.

You could try Andy at Syon Park, can't remember his surname but he is pretty good.
