graemeg is on a distinguished road
Default Brian McGlashan

having fished rivers only a handful of times i needed some help with my casting to help me get more from river fishing, wanted to know how to cast dry flies better and to avoid that dreaded drag, just had a lesson and what a great few hours with brian again, i learned alot brian taught me slack line casting and help me slow everything down as i was rather tense to start with and was casting a bit to fast with brians calming, and within no time at all i was managing to do it with no problems at all, brian showed me how to work from the middle of the river with a roll cast off either shoulder which helped get the flie off the water then get straight into a false cast and then covering both banks for the rising fish, im sure brian can explain it alot better , then brian helped me get my upstream casting better by helping me get the proper power application to get the flie to turn over, again im sure brian will help with the correct terms lol, but it was an amazing time and the best bit was catching a trout doing dry flie upstream ,

it is worth every penny for lessons and i will be back again for more

if you need help with your casting just get a lesson from an instructor you wont regret it best thing iv done and you pick up alot just watching them also,

many thanks for today brian

see you again soon

many thanks graeme
