Default Casting with style !

Seen at my first ever visit to the Glasgow Casting Club on a rainy thursday evening .....stylish or what ??? (and the casting was pretty good too )

Had a great night, met some nice guys including members of this forum who I had pm'd but never seen previously, got a great intro into single and double hand spey casting......lift - slide - cast (that will be going around in my head until the next meeting ) great crack and a cup of coffee to boot. Even saw a couple of rises in the pond !?

What more could you ask for

Nigel

Nice to see you and Englander there and joining in the banter right from the off!
Last part of the aide memoire is "Go!" rather than "cast". That particular cast we were on last night is punched out - they're nothing soft or gentle about it. Some lovely casts when all parts came together.

Hi Malcolm,

Some of the casts you demonstrated (without the umbrella !) were indeed a joy to behold - now, all I have to do is practice......in order to attain the same proficiency Should only take a decade or so !!!!!!!!!!

Great evening,

Nigel

Many thanks to all who made us all welcome last night it was very nice to put faces to names.

Intersting to see different reels/rods in the flesh too
