Default How to get accuracy when casting with opposite hand

How would you develop fairly good accuracy with your wrong hand or non dominant hand as I cast alot with my left hand even though I'm right handed, I play fish this way too, striking is a bit hit and miss though,

What would be the best way to get good accuracy distance and direction when casting with your wrong hand

I would say one would need to develop one's hand-eye-brain coordination in the non-dominant hand, and likely develop those fine control muscles in the hand-wrist-arm which one doesn't even have to think about on the dominant side.
To that end I would try not only casting, but performing many other everyday tasks with the non-dominant hand.
A Power Ball might help develop the fine control muscles.
It's something I think about doing, but haven't managed yet

I tend to do small task sub consiously left handed i always open doors, starting bolt threads, I can even tie flies to a degree left handed, tore ligaments inmy finger on my right hand and still tied with my left hand on the bobbin.

Its getting it applied to casting thats the problem

about 4 years ago due to elbow trouble i had to learn to cast left handed.Within 2 years my casting was better.Isuppose practice and perseverance were the key but being able to use either hand now is a bonus.I find now if i cast right handed i still retrieve left handed

all the best Nick

In my job (floorlayer) being able to use a hammer or a knife in either hand is a real bonus. I can do both now with confidence. This has taken me several years to perfect, any chance I got to safely switch hands I did. Sure it's a bit odd at first and in my case very dangerous But percevere and eventually it starts to fit together. Reading the comments above reminded me of the process.
Practice practice and then some more. Think I'll have a go at teaching myself to cast with both-should be comical for the first season .

one positive thing: when I learned to Spey cast a double-hander, my offside casts were crisper. My teacher, Glyn Freeman, said this is common because the non-dominant hand hasn't learned the bad habits which the dominant had

i remember reading years ago that if you practice with a rod and line in each hand the memory of the normal arm will be transferred to the inexperienced arm by mirroring its actions
