Default casting clubs

There are now quite a few casting clubs up and running or in the gritty process of getting started, i attend the Glasgow one.

As a first step, can we list them, where each are at with numbers etc, then maybe share experiences, things that worked, or didnt, what the focus is etc.

(the 0.5 is my other half - she tends to wander off after I've shouted 'bloody drift you daft *******' for the seventh time).

i just realised the timing is not ideal, GCC was down to 4 members last sunday due to several weekends of the worst weather in 10 years

casting clubs do rely on consistant turn out to build, a small core of committed members and occasional new visitors to add to the mix, but weather kills enthusiasm at times.

some of the guys want to do 100' this week, its a mid life crisis thing i think
so any tips from the distance dudes would be welcome.

Mike, as you well know, being aesthetically challenged isn't a hindrance when it comes to casting, in fact it can be an advantage - just look at JT
