Default Casting Lessons

Hi,

I have just got my fly rods and have two entry level rods to start off with. I have a 4/5 rod and a 7/8 rod (want to do some light sea work too). I am very aware that I will need some casting tuition to prevent any bad habits creeping in early on. I live just outside Ringwood on the Dorset . Hampshire border and was wondering if there are any casting instructors local to me that will not cost the earth. Most of the sites I have found online offering tuition are pretty costly.

My sea fishing casting coach only charges a couple of packs of ammo sand eel. I know I am not going to find anyone quite that cheap but I would like to get a couple of hours to cover the basics for less than the cost of a new rod and reel. Is there anybody out there able to point me in the right direction?

If you go with a qualified instrcutor you will get what you pay for. Have a look here:

Fly fishing instructors in the UK and overseas AAPGAI

Kevin Styles is very close to you. There are many others too such as Jim, Andy and MArtyn just a short drive.

Good luck. You won't regret it.

Thanks, I have sent Kevin a mail via the site so hopefully will be able to get some lessons underway as soon as possible so I can burn some of this enthusiasm off.
