Thumbs up Brilliant Idea!

Well done Alex, Harelaw is the ideal setting for float tubing. I won't be able to attend as there ain't a big enough tube built yet, but hope you get the support you deserve.

Try and get a Caddis Navigator 11 , They will hold up a whole family nevermind a big individual .

If I were you I'd contact the BFTA ( British Float Tube Assn ) - they've been running them for about 20 years !

Best wishes

I'd venture up for this date and wife permitting, often fancied this fishery.

Most of BFTA activity is middle/southern england. The two most northern events last year were cancelled I believe due to lack of interest. Having said that they are an accomodating bunch with a few members willing to put in plenty of mileage and put tubing on the map.
