Hi mate,

If your down on Friday ask Tommy Fagan about how to fish the "Retarded Earywig" seriously.

Just before the migrating snail starts on Lough Lene in late August there is a plague of earywigs that migrate down the lane from Tommys house, out and onto the Lough. Its a sight that must be seen to be believed.

Ive a pattern that is a killer when the earywig is thick on the water.

Hook: Kamasan B800 size 12-14
Tail & Legs: Peacock Hearl
Rear Body: Micro Lace over Brown sf dub
Middle body: Pheasant Tail over brown sf dub
Front body: Brown sf dub ribbed 2 turns pearl tinsel
Horns: Krystal Flash

Make sure you bring a few to Lough Lene. But if you forget, Tommy will have plenty of the original Just ask him seriously
