Default Kayak fishing Event.

Managing a fishing Loch and being an avid white water kayaker I have been approached by a Kayak company with regards to a possible event, Competition/Demo day for fishing Kayaks. I have noticed their seem to be more and more posts about fishing kayaks here so thought I would test the water and find out what anglers opinions were. My questions are how many of you out there are fly fishermen, and would there be any interest in an idea like this. Your thoughts on this matter would be very much welcomed.

Regards.

I would be up for that, depending on where it is. I am already sorted out though!

There is no definite date set other than once the weather warms up. It is still in the early stages and I wanted to get some feedback before committing. I will keep you informed of dates ect by posting regular updates here.

A good idea to get two sports together which sometimes don't seem to get along.

Have posted it on the UK Rivers Guidebook site on the Inland section for you. The might get a few more to the event.

This is a sound idea I wish that more fishery owners & clubs the guts to make their fisheries more accessable for the kayak/canoe anglers.
