On that tube are loop and velcro rodholders down each side !
And the temporary one acroos your lap . Two velcros on the end of the front pockets !!

I designed them that way so you could have 2 spare rods but low to the water as opposed to sticking up in the air and being a thorough nuisance in high wind .

How many rods do you want ???

Best wishes

Steve P

The velcro "parallel" ones work well with fly rods.

But if you want to make a vertical-adjustable type this page might provide some useful ideas:
Some DIY Float Tube Rod Mounting Alternatives
You can add so many rods that your tube looks like a cross between a Spanish trawler and a mobile phone transmission mast.

Alright for the idle because I've just done yet another one for a bloke in Scotland and I'm waiting to see if it suits him first before going public with yet another float tube device !

Shout me in a couple of months whilst the Scotsman does the trial work for you ! If it really is useful I'll make you one ( and you'll pay too ! )

best wishes

Steve P

PS I cannot believe anybody actually stops flyfishing to have a fag - I haven't done that since I started with the fags at 14 !
