Would not know about UK, but there was a guy in Germany who had Creek Company pontoons. It should not be expensive to get it to you from a continent. However, spare parts are hard to get.

If you like rowing - why not buy a rowing boat ?

Best wishes

You will find that pontoon boats catch a lot of wind, and drift fast.
So they would be more suited to sheltered areas.
Boats and tubes both have some hull or keel under the water. Consequently these drift at a more controlled speed. So if it's fly fishing you're planning I would keep that in mind.

A piece of rope with stone in the end has solved that problem for me.

I think that on an open (exposed to wind) lake of size, the words "pontoon boat" should be immediately followed by "electric trolling motor".

The ability to cover distance that a pontoon boat has brings it into the boat category and away from tubes. But it's inherent limitation of being prone to wind on big waters is almost eliminated with the added power of a motor.
They go well together, albeit at a higher cost. But compared with a rigid boat, trailer and engine, it's reasonable.
