Default Float tube tips for Thornton

Hi All,

I now have my nice new float tube and plan to take it for a trip to Thornton reservoir on Sunday. This will be my first time out so has anyone got any tips for me to make my first outing in HMS Rubber Duckie a successful one.

Cheers.

Sheepy.

Default Thornton

Hi Sheepy,
Speak to Ifor JONES the manager for Thornton, you can contact him either on this forum via still water updates or at the Lodge on Thornton.
Ifor is an expericenced tuber who will make you most welcome.
Also worth contacting Andre on the British Float Tube Website www.bfta.org he regularly tubes their.
If you are going to tube regularly at Thornton well worth getting to know the bfta who will be pleased to help you.
Keep warm, keep safe & enjoy.
