Jesus Danny thats mad
I am in the same position my self and got a couple of contacts up North.

I will let you know how I get on.

By the looks of your boat it is only really the seats you need replacing. Try sanding you could be lucky. My complete wood needs done but some of the seats are perfect you are welcome to them if they are any good. Its almost impossible to get Mahogany in long lengths now so I have to settle for a softer breed of Mahogany so they wont match in with my seats.

Yes it is a tad on the steep side aint it !!
All the wood actually needs doing on mine also , 90% has rot starting on it and infact is only one seat that is in good nic .
I am also wanting to redo the inside and out of the hull , turns out that is not to costly .
Are you doing yours right anyway ?? In other words will you have any info for me sooner rather than later mate ??

Its not that expensive guys. Go and price 20ft lengths of hardwood (suitable for gunwhales), if you can find them and then get them milled, not to mention the backboard and the rebate on that.

Cheers mate I will take his number please and see what the story is . That is the same price as Sheelin boats for the gunwhales though . 600 for all the wood , seats and transom , the lot .
I can do the work myself it is just getting hold of the wood at a realistic price that is the biggest issue .

Its not looking like your going to be far wrong. When you take into consideration all the wood. I knew it had to be done but hadn't broke down what exactaly had to be done, wish now I hadn't

There are two guys in Enniskillen, Danny, I will have the craic on Mon. With the rate at the moment it could be worth while.

Will keep you informed.
