You won't go far wrong with a C-TEC XS3600, it may appear a bit expensive but it trickle charges your battery no bother.
I was advised about buying a charger on this Forum a couple of years ago and the advise I got was spot on.

Echo the above. Seemed to have shot up in price since i brought mine two or three year ago. Never the less it is a quality charger / conditioner. Never fail to start my other car when i want a play.

1/ Optimate 3......worth a look at again quite expensive
2/ Airflow charger / conditioner........ditto above

3/ Accugard Car battery charger 1.8ah conditioner........Bit cheaper this one. I have one of these as well. Just pulled a neighbours battery back from the dead with one of these.

I got one out of Halfords for £40 its for leisure batteries which i think is a good job it also maintains the battery when its not in use maybe be worth having a look.

I'd just add to make sure the charge rating (amp hours or AHr) matches your fishing needs. For deep cycle batteries the advice has long been that lower AHr settings (<5) are better for the overall lifespan of the battery.

The problem is that if you're out in a good wind and really drag you battery down, it can take a couple of days to bring it back to full charge at a low setting. So if you often fish multiple full-day sessions in a row, it pays to have a dual setting charger with a >10 ahr setting as well as a slow charge or a charger that autmatically adjusts as the batter comes up to full charge. This way you can get most batteries up to full chrage overnight, but still take it easy on the battery when a fast charge isn't necessary.
