Default Boat and Engine

I am on the lookout for a second boat and engine ,preferably a Sheelin boat and engine wise a 15hp ,i found a very good sheelin with a 9.9 Yamaha for £4500 but thought it a bit steep for a second hand set up ,I think someone was selling on here a while ago but i have forgotten who it was ,location is Northern Ireland so no point in someone from Orkney or Mainland offering a sale

A brand new 19' sheelin is 2750euro so the £4500 seems a bit steep

That price included a new 9.9 Yamaha 4 stroke and a double axle trailer MM ,the price is too expensive though .

If you are modifying the boat buy it. What price is a new Yamaha? And a trailer? What do you need a 15hp engine for? To get drowned? An 8 Yamaha is enough for you.

How do you know an 8 hp engine is enough for me ?I currently use a 9.9 hp yamaha 2 stroke but have used bigger engines on ribs ,i also have RYC 1&2 small boat handling ,i fish competitions and i would like to get to where i am wanting to go as quick as i can so i spend more time fishing that travelling

Have a life and be a sportsman. Why kill trout? It is well known that anything over 8 hp is a waste of money. 4 hp is enough for you. STOP COMPETITIONS
