Default Life Jacket Recommendation?

Hi, can anyone recommend a good life jacket that ticks all the safety boxes but is also decent value, mainly for tubing but also for occasional boat fishing.

Try these folk,
Angling and Fishing Lifejackets - Products - Marine Warehouse Ltd

I got the lightweight manual for the tube just a few weeks ago and its not heavy or intrusive.
I did consider the `England` one but was directed here by fishers from Mike Barrio`s forum.
Hope this helps
Bob

It's probably blindingly obvious, but just in case you didn't know, make sure it's a manual firing jacket for tubing and not automatic. I use the Englands one as it's light, slim and the right price.

Has anyone used/come across one of these before, quite tempted for boat trips to the ressies:

Premium adventure fishing vest - Marine Warehouse Ltd

Can't get on with the U shaped ones and prefer a life jacket that feels more fitted and isn't flapping about!!

Cheers
Chris

bordertroot - thanks for the recommendation, ended up getting one of the Harveys Lifejackets from the Marine Warehouse.

hillfisher - thanks for the advice, yes went for a manual one.

chris - not sure about the specific jacket but would highly recommend the service from Marine Warehouse, great communication after the order was placed and they were even able to let me know an exact time slot that it was going to be delivered so I could make sure someone was in.

Just getting into tubing and quite surprised by how many people dont bother with a lifejacket!

Cheers all.

You can get cheaper than that from a marine/sailing/yachting shop or ebay........

PARMARIS 150N AUTOMATIC GAS INFLATION GREEN LIFEJACKET | eBay

PARMARIS 150N MANUAL GAS INFLATION GREEN LIFEJACKET | eBay

Parmaris are one of the best around.

why manual if you fall in you wownt have time to pull it if youve banged your head and your not awake!! or if you have a fit or somthing in that way how you going to survive. i would say after all my noledge i would use an auto one never mind the cost. money doesnt come into it when my life is at stake.if it goes off then refill it. £20 its worth every penny for my life. p p is right to ebay
