Default Parsun outboard

Hi,

Anyone have one or know what they are like ? they seem very cheap but how do they compare to the better know 15hp 4strokes, Honda being the market leader I suppose

What you get is what you pay for

If you're not paying Honda prices it probably means that you won't be getting Honda quality and service either

I know you can google Jim but here is the link to the website anyway
Parsun...Parsun outboard motor...Parsun outboards...china...
They are advertising on a few of the Irish boating websites.
I know its probably safer with a Honda or Yamaha but how bad can they be ? they might be perfectly fine

From all accounts I've heard Stylie... best to avoid at the moment!

Service, parts and reliability... all a bit shabby. Best thing to do is surf a few out board forums you'll soon see what I'm talking about!

Thanks Joey and Jim,
I have done a far bit of digging around and while some guys have had no complaints there are a few that have had trouble with them, so I think I had best avoid them. Going to continue the search for the rare as hens teeth 2 stroke 15hp.
Broke my specimen trout duck last week Joey, a shade over 11lb, now im trying for the really big fella 16+
Hows the family ? everyone settled ?
