Default Fish finder advice

Made the mistake of running to shallow with my Eagle Trifinder 2 tranducer still in the water. Now, my screen keeps flashing a particular depth with now other responses after trying various settings. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thanx in advance

Have you looked at your transponder. The sender that's at the back of the boat. If the angle has been adjusted or changed by you grounding the boat, the fish finder will give you these problems.

Just a thought

Agree with Wiggy, did the transponder just get tilted or did the bracket get bent so the face is not pointing straight down?

If that isn't the issue, and there's nothing else obviously wrong like a loose connection to the place where the transducer plugs in or low battery, I suspect you crunched the transducer. Not good.

Ideally, one would find someone with the same model to verify that it is the transducer before buying a replacement.
