Hi Guys

"Brit in the Bothy" and i tubed North Third yesterday, we have both tubed it before its a lovely fishery very pretty and wild. Float tubers are welcome and pay the same permit as bank fishers Now they also do a £10 C & R permit.



What a pretty place to fish !



Weather was a bit ropey at first and we got a good drenching at one point until the sun came out later on..............

I fished a 9' #5 Vision Cult, and floating line 13' leader size 8 Lite damsel (leaded) black hopper with a clan chief top dropper............

Changed my flies a few time in the day but never without the damsel

Result:

4 Rainbows (killed) another 4 lost !

4 Brownies ( Wee Returned) 1 lost !

7 Perch and 1 lost !

And i missed two good tugs between the islands..................Top fly the damsel taking bows,browns and perch !

Black hopper took a bow and a perch, my pimped pennel took a brownie, and i black minky took a perch too.

Great day enjoyed myself and the perch were a bonus
