Hi All

Could anyone recommend someone in the central belt of scotland who could fix my Minn Kota? Took it out for the first time this season on saturday and discovered it wouldn't turn over despite a fully charged battery.

I presume it's out of warranty? They usually have two years don't forget.

hi, not been on for a while and seen your post , how did you get on ? try these people for parts they are very helpful and are agents for minn kota, Welcome to Johnson Outdoors UK.
these motors are easy to work on, mine was jammed but it had been used in salt water, which it shouldn't have ! but after a simple clean it worked and still works fine, all the best wee mo (alan)

hi there i got mine fixed last year by adrian at butterstone. he has now left butterstone but i spoke to him a few months ago and he informed me that he was setting up a buisness in auchterarder (cloan engineering) and yes he will continue to be a min kota dealer.

Thanks for all the replys. Got a recommendation of a guy who used to work at country Life in edinburgh (closest to me). Am going to try him first. If anyone wants the contact details please PM me.
