Probably another mental question, but here goes.
Have any of you guys fished from a coracle, you know those welsh basket looking things.

Quite fancy making one, looks ideal to me. I could just sling that in the back of my van and leave it there. Take it out and wander down to the river looking like a mutant turtle.

Just wondered if there's any pros-cons I've not thought of.

I've got a sit on top Kayak, loadsa fun but not very comfy, certainly not for the elderly or portly gent............. which rules out Parton

From what I've read on coracles they are not the most stable of embarkations due to the rounded bottom. Not too sure but just the casting motion might get you either rocking or spinning. If you do try it could you have someone film you from shore and then post on you-tube? Could go viral in the fishing world!
