Get on donedeal ie mate lots of good chances come up on there . If you go to view anything make sure you take someone with you that knows what they are at

Better still take half doz of ya biggest mates with ya to just stand there stone faced while you do ya deal , amazing how you can get the price drop

I am using a meagher 19ft and could not be happier with it. It is sturdy, drifts slow and is great in a wave. Also have a 10hp honda 4 stroke which I find a bit on the heavy side. But that is a general drawback of 4 strokes. Done deal is as good as anywhere to start.

A new meagher boat would run you about €3500+. Engine 10hp Roughly 2500 new give or take

I too have a Meagher 19' lake boat and I'm delighted with it. It has a thicker hull than most of the competition including Burke boats.

It took me a while but I managed to get a 15HP Yamaha two stroke which is light enough to lift by yourself. It cost me €1,300 second hand. I also bought an electric engine for €230 and battery €85 and it's great for steering on the drift or whilst you are fishing for rising fish on the dry.

John Meagher is based in Borrisakane in Tipperary. He is a gentleman to deal with.

Regards,

Ray.

Hi mate, Iv got a Sheelin 19' that is for sale it is in A1 condition and you would be welcome to try her on lough Melvin or Gill before buying.
The only reason I have this one for sale is my trailer went t!ts up and the new trailer I bought had to be sold with its boat. so now Iv 2 boats. if pushed I could supply a 10hp motor but would like to keep it as my spare. you can also have a trailer but no guarantee with that.
Any questions ask away.
