Woke up to a fine day so decided to have a peche on the Coln. Arrived at around 11.00 to find I had the river to myself so started at the bottom of the beat and fish methodically up searching for pods of grayling. Tackling up with a weighted pink shrimp on the point an a size 16 pink gold-head on a dropper I fished upstream for a about 1/4mile, picking up 3 small grayling and one nudging about 1/2lb on the way, all falling to the dropper.
