Cravencast is hitting the European nail squarely on the head!

Forget this lot and go check out what has just passed into law in Spain - seriously worrying and the loonies are getting in charge of the asylum over there - and the first steps are being put through here with the triploid business !

Breaking news for sure - it looks as if the Spanish are about to be doomed because the conservationists ain't just after pure fish stocks but plants , animals , birds - the whole lot frankly .

Under the nice new Spanish way of conservation it looks as if you could even be breaking the law by owning say a Pekinese dog !

Judge Brandeis ,the great American lawmaker pointed out in the 20's that the greatest threat to democracy and civilisation was allowing well intentioned Zealots who understand very little about the wider game - loose to legislate !

Take great care !

while it is accepted that the contribution angling makes to the economy is quite significant , I am amazed that no mention of the impact salmon farming has had on the migratory fish stocks on the west coast of Scotland, some of our most Iconic fisheries , easker1

Perhaps because it is not part of the remit.
socioeconomic benefits of participation/benefits to comunities are just that.
they dont investigate extenuating factors regarding damage to habitat.

Is angling a problem for someone?
Cause for me it's a piece of cake. A child's play.

Albeit a very important piece of cake in the economy.
A childs play?
Exactly.
Is the only activity which can take us back to the heady days of our youth.
The take.
It immediately transfers us to the very days of our starting to fish.
The buzz is priceless.
but then, if you were an angler, you would know that.
