I've had a lot of minnows on fly when fishing the river, I usually know about it when they come whizzing past my ear on the back cast lol.

I'm glad it's not just me - I thought I had a subtle bite the other weekend so my instinct was to strike. The next thing I knew, a minnow came arcing through the air and landed on the bank behind me
I felt very guilty but I put it straight back and it swam off.
