Took the lad to Mitton beat today for a change to our regular Eden haunt as i thought the challenge would do him good as most of you will know its not the easiest of stretches to fish,but it turns out that the challenge was for me as he slapped me, 5 fish to my 3 including a lovely seatrout of around 1lb 5oz on a deer hair comparadun,
As M says the river is in poor condition and is desperate for some more rain,but an enjoyable session all the same,
All my lads fish were caught fishing the dry in the likely spots,i had 1 on the dry and a quick change to a light nymph took 2 nice brownies from a fast riffle that just looked like it held a fish or 2 but wouldnt rise to a dry,
