Hi guys. I'm sure this has been questioned before, but is casting to mullet that have been fed on bread what fly fishing is all about? I'm not saying i wouldn't try it. I probably will. To date the closest i have got to catching a mullet is a hook up. I lost the fish after 30 seconds.

So what are your thoughts? I know that if trout were fed i would have no interest in flyfishing for them, so why would it be any different with mullet?

I see mullet all the time on the west of Ireland, but have only dedicated an hour or two in persuit of them...this season i will try to do better..
