Default After some info on a few old inherited rods...

Hi all,

You'll have to excuse my ignorance, as i know absolutely nothing about fly fishing or the tackle involved.

But, i recently inherited 3 of my late grandads fly rods. I'm just after a bit of info on them. As far as i can remember he stated they were all bloody good rods, back when they were new.

All i'm after is a bit of background on these, i.e. dates, quality, possible value? (by the way, my grandad looked after his tackle, and these are all in brand spanking new condition)

Anyway, these are the rods, and what is written on them:

- House of Hardy, #7/8, Graphite, De-Luxe, 10 1/2 ft. 1IJ98919

- House of Hardy, Jet, 9ft, O/B.

- Bruce and Walker, Carbon, Reservoir Fly, 10ft, DT8 ST9.

Well, thanks in advance for any info you can give me. And, just to let you know, i do not plan on selling any of these rods as they were my Grandads pride and joy and could never bear to let them go.
