i use one of these http://www.redportnet.co.uk/view.aspx?id=6 in the 42" size and find it ideal, big enough for any pike, light and easy to carry, although no strap is fitted, it would be easy to make one to fit, or i have put one of the landing net magnets on the end of mine and have it hanging from the top of my waistpack, although i did have to take a few inches off the end of th handle
