I'm just in the middle of making a list of gear needed and i'm presuming if i'm to be fishing the Nidd and some stillwater venues (boat and bank) i'll probably need 2 rods? If so, how short/weight/flex etc should i go for the river and how long/weight etc for stillwater? I would prefer to get it right 1st time rather than my normal dive in too soon and realize i've bought the wrong gear.
If anyone has any direct recommendations tackle-wise i'm all ears. Didn't really want to spend more than about £60/rod, less if possible, but more if needed. I certainly don't need a brand, just something that performs well..... I'm a Yorkshireman after all
