Secondly, for the added pleasure and satisfaction you get from catching a fish on a pattern you have tied yourself.
Thirdly, for the satisfaction from making the capture a complete experience in terms of identifying the trout's food and being able to present it in an acceptable way. You know the fish will probably take a bead on a hook, or an orange blob, but you also know that it was feeding on black buzzers.
