I use a dubbing by Orvis I bought years ago and still have some left - really fine and soft. Can be used for all sorts of flies - nymphs, dries and even whispy dubbing on spider patterns when used with Pearsalls. Great stuff. That was a while back...now have alook at Orvis Spectrablend which I'm fairly sure is the same stuff.
