I agree with Highlander.
My tact in wild trout lochs has been to sit back open a beer & watch to see how big the trout in the loch really are.
It amazes me how the water comes alive with fish rising right up to the side of the boat.
I've always treated the snow shower of caenis as the anglers curse. Perhaps wrongly as there are usually some great fish on the move during a big hatch.
